there was some porn downloaded in our music files. Do I have a worm that's allowing someone to remotely download from my computer? Any help on the subject would be usefull. thanks

First tip: Don't post in the lounge with questions like this...unfortunately you won't be taken very seriously.
Is it possible you just got a wrongly labelled file?

You could have just got a wrong file but its always worth checking everything just to be safe. Virus scan and spy scan etc.
Thanks for everyones reply. I'll do some scans and yes they had the correct titles.
Unfortunately I still have'nt come up with this answer. I suppose my husband probably downloaded it , huh??

Did you try a virus scan?
There are some worms that would create files under porn names in your shared folder.

Have you done a virus or spyware search????
if not get one of these.......NOTE these are only for spyware not virus'
spybot search and destory, adware, or pestpatrol
i presonally use spybot i find it works the best......it might be difficult to understand for some i use advanced mode on it
you can easily find it, its a free dl
google it... or download.com might have it
avg antivirus is a good free program aswell
Good Luck
