i have a problem with my burner, when i use Nero (every version) i can only burn one disk and then the pc freez and the only thing i can do is to reset, but when i use alcohol 120% the burner works propertly finishes correctly but i cannot use alcohol 120% to burn archives from my pc so, anyone has idea on what to do? :helpsmile:

Have you tried updating your burner drivers? What make and model is it?

i havent updated the drivers, i dont know the model but is a cyber drive burner

It always pays to check your firmware in cases like this

Ive had my share of problems with nero but I still SWEAR by it.Check in device manager check hardware then your setting,s . Try dma settings on atapi drives then reinstall nero. I found that works. Well for me

Well I'll need to know the exact name and model if I can give you working drivers for it to install. Sounds like a firmware issue.

Right Click My Computer > Properties > Hardware (Tab) > Device Manager > DVD/CD-ROM Drives

Expand that one, and it should give you a make and model, i.e. SONY DVD5X2X
