Hi

I would like to send some of my song to labels and see if they would want to use them, but none of my songs are copyright’d to me. How can I copyright them to me and also doing it cheap but effective?

I live in the UK

Thanks

I was thinking about that myself too,but i don't think it really matters.
Copyright is a worldwide law so I don't think you have to copyright your music in the U.K..But i'm not really sure.I tried looking it up on google but didn't find any info on that.Maybe there's an answer on that site?

ps:They're both the same site actually.

International Copyright Relations of the United States (http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ38a.pdf)

Maybe this will help too.
Just go trhough their FAQ's and you'll get your answer I think :)

Just put it in a shared folder.
We'll take care of the rest.

Edit the ID3-Tag. You can do it with Winamp. In ID3 there is a section with "Copyright", write down your name. As many standalone players could recognize ID-Tags, this should be fine.

You also can write your adress in the tag.

Just because you wright your name down there doesnt give you the copyright for the song
