Upgrading Soundcard

After my post in musicworld, I have decided to upgrade my soundcard. Now I'm not a gamer and I don't need multichannel outputs ( I use my HT for that). What I want is a very good stereo soundcard, to connect to int. amp and would rather not to waste money on the unecessaries mentioned before, if possible. Any ideas?

For about $20, a Sound Blaster Live! is always great.

There is a Chaintech one on Newegg, thats about 24 bucks or so, and has a CRAP load of reviews, seeing as how it is very popular.
