I didn't want to make this post, but things are getting out of hand in here, so...

Here are a few questions for BitTorrent fans to consider before making posts in this world.
Do Shareaza users go into BT world and start slagging BT off? NO
Do Shareaza users go into BT world and start preaching about trackerless torrents? NO
Do Shareaza users go into BT world, trying to convert it's users over to Shareaza? NO
What makes you guys think it's okay to come in here and try it?
Why is it so offensive that this forum has a Shareaza World ?
For your enlightenment, we use Shareaza because: It's easy to set up and use
We can access several networks with just one program
If there's a problem, it will be fixed with the next update.
Updates are regular and frequent.
It doesn't matter what kind of connection a user has.

We respect your choice to use BT for whatever reason makes it your preferred client.
Please respect our choice to do the same with Shareaza, and STFU about BT in here.

Now let the inevitable flaming commence.

so our opinion is not wanted, I feel I have the right to tell people what I think where ever it is
be it weekly world news or irc or your precious
you can't control people ideas or opinions, nor the facts!
you can defend your POS app all you want, but me and everyone who just wants people to know the truth will always be here
you can hide and bitch but we will always voice our opinion
one of the biggest advocates of shareaza was reality and he has even come to the same conclusion that most who have tried the standalone apps and found them far superior than shareaza

Yes agreed, though hopefully it may get better and I will be the first to admit when it does and look foward to it. Although the original post here only leaves me one thing to say that as for now...

It Sux Balls.

Your opinions do count whatever the subject but there are also a lot of people with different views. I know you are fond of the Shadows client and me myself have tried different sorts of BitTorrent clients and they didn't work properly for me but Shareaza does. I know, read the different topics, websites and tips how to configure the BitTorrent clients. I've done that, tried almost every tip/configuration I could find but it didn't work. So I'm happy with Shareaza, what's the big deal?

Muchspl2 - Y'know, I was waiting for you to make an appearance

In fact I should've put money on you popping up.

I knew you guys would think of this thread as a way to try and stifle your opinions and you couldn't be further from the truth.

Your opinion IS wanted.

Just understand that Shadow's (or whatever) client isn't the best app for EVERYBODY for a variety of reasons.
Shareaza IS the best app for SOME for a different variety of reasons

Don't take this fact as a personal affront, or a reason to flame out Shareaza.
Respect other's choices. Thier opinion is just as valid as yours.
That's all I'm saying.

REALITY - Okay, you think raza "sux balls".
Fine. you've done your experiments and convinced yourself.
You've made it crystal clear what you think.
But theres no need to keep labouring the point, as you have in this topic and the one you started a couple days ago. We get it, okay?

I just dont want to see a Shareaza user coming in here, asking for advice or help and getting swamped with replies like "uninstall that POS" or "Shareaza Sux Balls"

Am I being unreasonable? I hardly think so...

Edit: typo

Thanks for this post guys, now I've learnt what POS means.

IMO everyone has their preferences for whatever reasons, may depend on the connection you have, what files you download, and what your abilities are like.
And we all have the ability to change our minds and try new things, thats what this whole forum shows with different forums for different apps, so we can go in and see what people have to say and learn more about what other apps there are, how they work, and how they are perceived.

I've used Shareza, and it served a purpose, and now look to other programs to see if they can provide different possibilities.

But keep up the flaming, because it means I don't have to go to the Funny Stuff forum to get a laugh.

umm yes but u see theres a diffrence. BT doesnt have any shareaza parts to it at all but as for shareaza u can also use BT. so that alone gives BT Users the right to bitch about shareaza. But the people that built shareaza must have liked BT or it wouldn't be inclued.

and why does shareaza suck well theres alot of reason but the BT client built into sharaza sucks major ass
