Okay.

Let's talk about why there are so many "spam" topics are around...

Are you indifferent and ignore them?

Do you actually enjoy them?

Do they annoy you?

Or do you wish there was capital punishment for starting a spam topic? (or at least persistant offenders were banned?)

Please, no flaming or spamming...

"Spam" Thread= STFU, Biggest Spam Thread Ever, The Bump Thread, Paris Hilton Thread, etc...

Maybe a poll?

it depends what people would class as spam, but most of the topics i'd class as spam don't bother me :)

I think they are an integral part of the forum .

Its important to have a few threads where you can chat bollocks

I think spam threads are good fun. There is certainly no way they hurt anyone and its a much better idea than having serious threads spammed instead.

I mean we all enjoy talking rubbish and being silly once in a while dont we?

This is a great point, I've got to know people a lot better from the "spam" threads than any of the "serious" threads... ;)

they're fun for the first 5 pages, but then noone comes up with anything worth spamming with, then its just pure spam, so i ignore the threads

First, what I understand as SPAM:

1. All the advertisement in my mailbox.
2. Sex Popups!
3. Advertisements (commercial) in topics.

I normally try to look over SPAM mails as far it is possible. One time I wrote to one spammer - although you should not answer SPAM mails, cause the SPAMMER would know your mail adress exists - and he really made amend and said sorry ;)

I also hate Sex Popups!

Sorry internet.snews we're not talking about that sort of spam (which I think we agree annoys EVERYONE) we're talking about the "Spam Threads" which some people see as Spam because they, well, because they are
