Some time ago I remember having seen that some of you guys - wasn't it Virtualbody1234 or The_Dave? and some others? - have their own Invision Forums?

I just wanted have a look in some members Forums - I think that these Forums might be something like a diary online where people and friends can share thoughts ;) - so that I can get an impression ...

An Impression (view) is, depending on what's meant, either an Ad Impression (Ad view) or a Page Impression (page view). Usually an Ad impression is what is meant. There can be multiple Ad impressions per page impression. Impression counting should consider that a small percentage of users choose to turn the graphics off (not display the images) in their browser.

This form of site leeching can be prevented through the use of an .htaccess file with the various names of known Whacker program's 'User Agents' defined in the file code. By placing the full re-write syntax structure into the .htaccess file and referring the User Agent to some place else to ‘whack,’ anytime a Whacker program (as defined in the list) is detected, it will be halted from whacking your site and redirected elsewhere instead.

Hmmm.... there is one thing I still can't figure out...
How come everyone picks on internet.news?

Lets see, people pick on net weiser because he is a spam monkey, and shit_happens because he is an asshole. But I don't see anything wrong with internet.news. Though I have to admit the "sharing thoughts openly" stuff is creepy, internet.news doesn't seem like a bad guy.
