Matrix Revolutions Official Dvd Cover

The Matrix Revolutions will hit store shelves on April 6 for a suggested price of $29.95 in a two-disc set that looks a little better than The Matrix Reloaded, except for the weak cover.


The movie will sport a 2.40:1 anamorphic transfer, with English and French Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, English closed captioning and French and Spanish subtitles.

The Matrix Revolutions was the finale of the trilogy that started off so brilliantly in 1999 but sputtered as it traded in its unique mythology for plain old action, albeit some of the best action sequences ever filmed. This final installment sees humanity preparing for an invasion of Zion, the last human city, by the machines, while Neo must face Agent Smith one last time to stop him from completely taking over The Matrix.

The DVD will feature:


-Revolutions Recalibrated: The making of the final chapter of The Matrix trilogy,
Neo Realism: The Evolution of Bullet Time

-CG Revolution: The incredible special effects arsenal.

-Super Burly Brawl: Behind the final Neo/Smith showdown, including the segments "Double Agent Smith" and "Mind Over Matter: The Physicality of The Matrix."

-Before The Revolution: A 3-D Matrix timeline

-Future Gamer: The Matrix Online: an introduction to the massively mulit-player game based on the movie.

-Photo gallery

-Theatrical Trailer

I buy only the good ones, and mostly cause of this kinds of movies. I like to see how they did it all. You rarly can download that. ;)

I agree. as big a matrix fan as i am (and im a BIG matrix fan) i cant deny the crappiness of this cover. i could make that in paint in less than a minute. just shows WB&#39;s commitment to the matrix franchise. bunch of no good bearly- advertizing-one-of-their-biggest-franchises bastards&#33;

i like the matrix reloaded and the matrix revolutions way more than the original. i cant even watch the matrix anymore because its so boring. i can watch reloaded and revolutions over and over again. imo reloaded was the best out of the trilogy :D

not even close pal. sequals are movie which continue a story that ended. a trilogy is one big story split in three parts. when we see a sequal it is the continuation of a story thought up a period after the previous one and is made to continue the saga but by no means finishing off the original story. sequals are mostly made for pure profit. not that all movie aren&#39;t but i can tell with trilogies people think up the story in a way where it could be told/viewed as one big movie and is connected with all the previous films in the most crucial areas.

Anyway, I&#39;ve been kinda holding out buying the Matrix dvds cause I figured they&#39;d sell a boxset once Revolutions is out. Has anyone heard anything. If they do, it should have Matrix,Reloaded,Revolutions,Animatrix,Revisited, and they should add some bonus disc. If anyone knows if there planning it.

Yes they were. In Revisited the bros say they went up to the movie producers, or whoever you go to to pitch a movie, and told them, without any other directing experience, that they had this idea for a trilogy. The producers gave them a chance and the bros directed Bounce to prove they had what it took.

the fuck it wasnt. u dont know shit about the films pal. if u watched revisited or even the first matrix dvd in the documentaries they talk about the films being thought up as a trilogy and that the w.bros mentioned that to Joel Silver when they presented their idea but he said to take it one step at a time and see if the first film would do any good. only then would the wachowski bros have the premission to continue with sequals.
