...her native country of Belgium this coming friday (16th) for the fresh air and invigorating athmosphere of Scotland. Of course she wont be leaving us in the true sense and will hopefully be meeting some of you (us) over there for the Glasgow Pub Crawl 2004 in february.

This will give everyone however a chance to wish her bon voyage and good wishes for her new life in a new country and with a new comrade.

So heres to you Skweeky :inlove: :beerchug: :flowers: and may your life be full of exciting adventures, lots of romance and jolly good luck for the future. May the ferry trip be a safe one and may the night onboard be full of what you wish and long for ;)

Much Love

Whoever told you that Prestwick was close or similar to Glasgow was sadly mis-representing the facts.

If and when you and a group of your closest associates ever decide to visit Glasgow for real, please let me know. If you supply the date / time / venue I will gladly buy you a welcoming pint.

I wish you and yours all the best in your new home and life.

Take care of yourself, I am serious about the pint btw.

You can thank me tonight in your farewell message to me....
we'll start off with a game of patience, then a drink or two... then talk about how you can overcome your sea-sickness, which i doubt very much you will get as you will be otherwise occupied at that time ;)

i suggest buying anti sickness bracelets. they are basically a bit of material with a magnet sown into them or maybe its just a button. but anyway the button psuhes into your vein the one that enters your hand, and apparently works, it has stopped several friends of mine from being travel sick. or maybe it is just a placebo?

Skweeky,

All the best wishes for your new adventure!! Hope the move goes smoothly. Good Luck. Smooth sailing, gotta hope the wind dies down.

Sea sickness prevention, the spice ginger. Swallow (omg I haven't said that to a woman in years) a quarter to half a teaspoon of fresh ginger powder. I used to fill glycerine caps, but a bit of tissue paper can be used to wrap the ginger in. The important issue is to get the ginger to your stomach without burning your throat. Take the ginger a couple hours prior to sailing so it is in your system when the motion hits. It's too late to take the ginger once you start feeling sick.

Cheers, omc
