This DJ company that I work for just got these new subs called bassmaxx. They are the best subs that I have ever heard. When we played rock the boat by aliyah and they made my nuts shake when I was over 10 feet away. Thats not too bad for only 2 speakers.

My question is does anyone know of any good songs to play that have a lot of bass. Im looking for songs with long notes or songs with a wide range of bass. I hoping to burn them to a cd before our next job on saturday so I can test them out.

Thanks

I used to have a Bass test CD I "acquired" when my my brother was building his set-up (in his slammed Nissan 200sx). It was just a collection of different bass notes and lines in varying frequencies. There was one note on it (can remember the frequency) that was so deep and heavy that it literally took your breath away when sitting in his car. Man that is one uncomfortable feeling. :frusty:

yep, majic mike is the sh*t for testing subs, hands down B)

now you may think this is funny,
but get "let me be the one" by saphire
and run that one through your test too
it'll definately test your subs reflexes
(theres an instrumental at the end of the song that'll rattle your f'n nuts  )
not as deep as majic mike's bass,
more for a responsiveness test

Dj Magic Mike - The Journey (Era of Bass PT.2)

Frank White Associates - 10" White Label (Bassiest record I own by a long way!!)

Nelly - Pimp Juice

This song has amazing bass. Also Kurupt - My System
that song is the definition of bass.

pretty much the entire busta rhymes album genesis aswell, especially "truck volume" and "match the name with the face"

watch out for "match the name with the face" though, because it starts out quiet but gets a lot louder :)
