I have 256 RDRAM (RAMbus RAM).But I don't know how fast my memory is (??? MHz)

How can I know how fast my memory is ?? is there any tool like "Motherboard Monitor" or somethin' ?????

RDRAM Speeds
RDRAM comes in three variants (as far as I know):

PC800 - One of the initial RDRAM formats available, it runs at 400MHz DDR (800MHz effective).
PC1066 - runs at 533MHz DDR (1066MHz effective). This was to directly complement the Northwood Pentium 4s, which use a 533MHz FSB.
PC1200 - runs at 600MHz DDR (1200MHz effective). This class of RDRAM uses 32-bit technology as opposed to the 16 bits of previous versions.
note: RAMBus RAM can become very hot during operation. If you notice this, you may want to consider extra cooling measures, such as cooling fans or heat spreaders

Whats your FSB speed? The RAM speed will probably correspond to that.

Get AIDA32 and it'll tell you everything you need. :)

Thanx for that , but the main problem is that I don't know the FSB speed :frusty:

That's probably because you didn't look correctly.

DWk is right, you didn't look corectly (Motherboard->SPD)

AIDA32 say "Your BIOS is older than 2 years. You should check for updates"

Did your motherboard include any kind of utilities in a CD-Rom?

I guess this (http://usa.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=P4T&langs=09) is your motherboard. For updating your BIOS, I would recommend contacting ASUS and asking them for directions.

Have you ever updated a BIOS before?

Edit - By the way, it's always recommended that if your computer is working ok as it is, then there's no need for the BIOS. Look for what the update changes are. :)
