How Do I Make A Copy Of A Dvd?

Hey I Was Just Wondering how I Make A Dvd Copy With A CD-r Or Do I Need A DVD-r To Do So? Any help would be much appreciated.

I've never copied a DVD. So I might be wrong. But I don't think it's possible to put it on a Cd-R.

it is possible you can make a VCD or a SVCD

Yes, by encoding a dvd into a different format you can easilly fit a dvd onto a cd. I am a huge fan of DIVX encoding as you don't lose too much quality at all, however unless you have a special, (and expensive) dvd player that supports DIVX, you can only view the movie from your computer.
