I am wondering what does RC stand for in those builds.

Can I disable email notification of replies, cause I did tick the box to enable it.
Can I disable it now? Is there a way?

disable email notification on replies by clicking my controls below the help icon, then click on email options under the options heading, then uncheck: Enable 'Email Notification' by default?
Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to.
