Program To Record Video Games

do you guys know of a program that can record video game fortage?

Recording PC games or recording PS2/Xbox/whatever?
I know somebody that plugged their PS2 into the Red/Yellow/White INPUTS on a VCR and just hit record. For a PC game, there are a bunch of capture programs, but I'm not sure if you can run it while you run a game.

I know a lot of people use Camtasia to make video tutorials. Those tutorials usually involve video editing programs, not too sure if it will run while a video game does. The program is pretty good, I would recommend you at least give it a try to see if it works.
