I'm lazy these days, I just use a program instead of calculating & tweakin the registry manually.

For tweakin connection settings on Windows, just grab the TCP/IP Optimizer from speedguide.net:

PS Go here if you need to convert from Kbps to Mbps or whatever. It's useful for those who need to enter the proper speeds but dont know Kilobits from megabytes. http://www.edoceo.com/utilis/bandwidth-calculator.php?from_bw=6Mb&cmd=Calculate
