 i've been having this problem about a month,
whenever i open my computer and when it gets to the welcome screen,
this pop up comes on and says "your password will expires in 14 days, do you want to change your password"
(but in mi user account options i chose no password for this account?)
so is there a way to disable or get rid of it cuz its annoying? or is it for some security reason?
also when i had Window ME dis never happened? :)

it sounds like windows activation, and im guessing you dont have corporate edition XP (home probably)

if its a dodgy version, get a corp edition from somewhere (suprnova.org probably best bet) and upgrade

if its a good un, then go online and register, follow the guide it gives
