Can I still do a windows update with XP Antispy running on my system?
You see I have a genuine version of XP home and activated it.I then installed a copy of Office XP 2002 Pro with a Key I got in the download....Can Microsoft find out if I have a real copy of any of their software or a copy from the net?
The reason I ask this is because a mate of mine said they will send you a letter demanding money from you for the copied software you are running..
Did I make a mistake by activating my legal version then installing a hooky office?
Can I stop them getting the info in the first place somehow I have the anti spy software on my machine but I am not to sure of what I need to have ticked for this to be safe. Can someone please post a screen shot of what I really need to have ticked.
Many thanx
