For those of you who are playing the game I have a question ...

Everytime there is a "vision" or a "cut scene", there is a whiteout screen that happens for about 0.5 of a second before and after it plays ....

I'm wondering wheter this is a bug and something's wrong with my settings ... or is this what is supposed to happen?

It doesn't really disrupt gameplay ... but can be a bit distracting.

Is anyone else getting this white screen?

yeah its suppost to be like that... its like a flashback kinda so the scren goes white and you see things to come

Hmm.. I have Prince of Persia for the Xbox, I've never noticed any "white screens" while playing the game. :unsure:

nah when you go to the save icon things and it shows the vision

Thats what I meant. I've never noticed any "white screens" during the vision.

I guess I should have been more specific. :P

that has to be part of the game dude, cuz the white screen is kinda like a flashback, and then you get ur vision back! hard to explain

There is either something wrong with my game or something wrong with my card. i cant get 2 min into the game without it turning into a spiral mixing of colors that wont go away unless i walk back the way i came, and i cant even see where i am to walk because of this

What gfx card do you have? When you say 2 mins ... do you mean actual gameplay or after the video clips?

game play, it starts after i climb up to the entrance ways. when i walk in the door way the whole screen turns into spiraling colors, that wont go away untill i walk back out of the door.

Card is a ti4200

I asssume that you're running the latest graphics card drivers (or at least older than 43.45) and DirectX 9.0b ...

BTW, what OS do you have?

According to the readme your nVidia card should be supported .... hell the game was designed for nVidia.

I suggest .... if you already haven't done so .... change all requirements to the bare minimum in the graphics options menu ... If it runs then you can change them one at a time to see what is giving you problems.

Don't disable VSync though


V-Sync
- Disabling v-sync on some video cards such as NVIDIA GeForce 3 may cause
  display corruption.

nah its 32mb... pretty much every game i play has a slow down for it so i just use the tv out and watch movies
