any suggestions on a RPG game i can play online with a mate or 2. ive tried everquest, (weird)

i was thinking more LOTR style game, or that game gauntlet (that was cool)

a game where you pick a player with a certain ability and you work together with your friends to conquer an enemy of some sort. You get the picture

So any ideas

well, most rpg onlines, you have to pay a fee. you could try the new ff.

and most rpg doesnt have a multiplayer option for a lan.

thanks for all the suggestions on games like call of duty, medal of honour etc, but its not what i am after,

we (me and my mates) have 56k modems, and we wanna play a game like gauntlet legends (Nintendo 64).

u should try Age Of Empires ; The Conquerors it is quite a mind blowing , old but community is still at large game and it has summ really good online 8 player RPGS and summ really kool maps
i know its old but my 2nd favorite classic online game... my 1st is Tiberian Sun by C&C
