Hl: Counter-strike Corrupted Files

i got counterstrike about 438mb and it corrupted only the eula.txt, readme.txt, sierra.inf, language.inf. So do me a favor. Go to counterstrike directory and see those files and open them to see whatever inside those text files and post it so i can copy those text to my installed counterstrike or email me or whatever that you can do. i can't install the update maybe because those files. What is this? Noob central thread? Couldnt you just delete your local content and then re-install the game through steam, then update?

I tried that site, and the files wont download, they will just say, this page cannot be displayed

um... please dont tell me people are still trying to download CS and play it without getting it through steam... cause that has to be the most idioatic thing if your doing it right now.
