hi ppl, I'm looking for some really good pc strategy games that have a more economical and envirornment aspect instead of fighting that a mediocre home pc can run (getting upgrades soon <_< ) and any other strategy games where you are like an emporor but you manage rules and pollution and stuff, sorta like sim city but with fighting involved. Know any?

and no turn-based crap either

mmm, have both, as for the environment, i mean lets say if you build somethings, it'll have effects on the surronding area, like pollution or stuff, sorta like what goes on the ground in starcraft when you build zerg buildings, and i'm looking for a unique-like game.

Warcraft (All)
Command and Conquer : Generals
Emperor: Battle for Dune
Age of Empires
Dune 2000
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms
Homeworld

There are many other great ones as well.
Although, you should think about at least trying some turn based ones as well,
There are many great turn based Strategy games as well

Don't play Total Annihilation: Kingdoms.

Play the original, its much better.

Get Shogun: Total War. Real tactics in there.

The new one would be Rome

and FYI Total war isnt a own game its just the name of the series e.g. Shogun:Total War, Medieval: Total War, Rome: Total War :)

I was playing StarTrek Armada 2 at a friends house the other day, even if you hate Trek that game is pretty damn sweet.

ok althought the single player is turn based the multiplayer of civilization 3 is not. If you dont mind playing online civ3 is proably your best bet. Also homeworld 2 is pretty good

I personally haven't played it, but Starcraft seems to be a good game. Maybe someone here has played it and can comment further on it.

Dude you need to play it, it's probably one of the best RTS games to date.
Fairly cheap now, if you actually want to own a the cd, if not, download it.
You will not regret it.
