When i try to install norton system 2004 i get a black box and then message saying 16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem,config.nt system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.any help would be great

where did you get if from, it may be a corrupt file. Are you sure it is not a compressed file you have to rename to burn it to cd. More than likely it is a bad file.

Hi firefox downloaded of Kazaa its file size was approx 132,000mb it did not come as a zip file,i will try and rename it and see what happens.

What windows you using?

Ram?

MHZ or GHZ?

HD Space?

NAV or PRO edition?

What is the previous AV?


Seems like your computer can handle NAV 2004 tough luck.
Thats what I see.

Solutions (I would say):
*Defrag
*Clean/delete less important files
*Check for error's

Lesson number one...
Youll find that theres a million better programs to download large software than kazaa..
The quality is pretty shit with Fasttrack network(kazaa) as it doesnt check the hash calculation more than once so the ability for corrupt files to sneak in are better than average..
Try downloading it from somewhere else
