Movie Compression....

Is it possible to compress a movie so that it would fit onto a normal cd ?? Most of the movies i have are just over 700kb and wont fit onto a single cd and i dont have a dvd burner so is there any software that will compress movies to fit onto a normal cd without me loosing the vid and sound quality ??

Im not vid technical person hense the reason for this post.

you mean 700mb and that will fit on a cd.

try overburning the cd if you have to. the option is somewhere in the menu if you using nero.

just compress it with winace, winrar or winzip...it will take off around 20+ mb then it should fit onto a cd.

Do you intend to watch the movies on a dvd player? If so try KVCD (mpeg1 VBR)or miniDVD (mpeg2 VBR).

Your player has to support these formats. Slightly lowering the bitrate won't make any noticable difference to the quality.
