I recently had a strict medical. I have discovered that I have lost one inch in height. Down from 6’ to 5’11”. This leaves a lot of unsolved mysteries:

1. Where did that inch go to?
2. Will I lose an inch from any other place(I cant afford to  )
3. Does this mean my diet has been put back by 5 pounds?
4. Will I get mugged when I go for my pension?
5. Will I have to change my username.
6. Is there any way I can regain what I have lost?

I now very despondent and need a lot of care and affection. Where should I go for this? Should I start drinking again? :(

More seriously a loss of height could be due to contraction of the intervertebral spaces.

You'd be surprised most people have it to some degree, only it becomes more pronoced during old age because thier body is less able to withstand the pull of gravity.
