An educated guess would tell me you get the new browser window when viewing *.wmv or *.asf files? Basically, if you download porn clips, occasionally the website where you got the clips from will add in code to the video to launch a new browser window which will take you to their website. This, of course, means that any URL can be planted within these certain media types, so viewers of the videos could be linked to a compromised site (containing a virus infected plugin). If you wish to remove the hyperlink from the video you can try re-encoding the video with "Windows Media Encoder"

You can find Windows Media Encoder here (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx). Or you can use Virtualdub (http://www.virtualdub.org/).
