OK first off Ive tryed about 10 different codecs literately and this same problem starts
2nd
its plays perfect on Videolan
3rd
it freezes after 4 seconds each time!!!
both disk 1 and disk 2 do the same thing
the movie is
Cold.Mountain.SCREENER-TDi.1of2.avi
Cold.Mountain.SCREENER-TDi.2of2.avi
I want to encode this, and watch it on DVD player and lend it too people, playing on video lan is useless and i hate watching movies on PC it looks shit
problem is TMPGE encodes it as the freeze shit and the picture doesn't move
any suggestions??

i have exactly the same problem i use bs player or windows media player to preview files but you can only view them from shared folder when kazaa is turned off completely.
Sounds like u have a bad frame u should remove those.

I know there is a program to correct that? DivX Anti-Freeze? I think that may be what its called. It scans the file for bad frames and then will then remove them.

just because it plays fine on videolan doesnt mean that it is a perfect file, thats what videolan is use for to play hard files that are hard to play in othe media players ;)
