the title sez it all,
is a 8xAGP mobo 2wice as fast at delivering 8xagp graphic cards than 4xagp mobos.
because i have a 4xagp mobo and was wondering if upgrading my mobo would vastly improved the quality of my 5200
___
another random quick question:
Wot does FSAA 4x + AF8x mean? im looking at a comparison benchmark between the radeon 9600xt and gf fx5700ultra and the 9600xt is better than the 5700ultra when FSAA 4x + AF8x

yes it would
if u have a 8X graphics card u have to use a 8X board
otherwise ur overall performance will be limited by the board, this is called bottleneck effect

All that 8x AGP will do is increase the amount of bandwith between your card and the rest of the PC. You will not notice much difference between 4x and 8x, if any.

maybe 10fps
Mostly depends on what resolution you are playing. If it's 1024x768 I seriously doubt there would be much difference.

FSAA= Full Screen Anti-Aliasing
AF = Anisotropic Filtering
16x, 8x, 4x, 2x, and 1x are all Sample amounts in them (how much you want em..... bigger is better) :)

Ask a seemingly simple question and you may feel silly for 5 minutes, don't ask the question and you'll feel silly for life.

Asking questions is the best thing you can do. Always ask why, you learn a lot more.
