Playstation 2 System 50001 Play Burnt Dvdr Games?

i saw it on a site with a very low price, i realy wana buy it but i not sure if it can play burnt ps2 game, or it still need the modchip. if any of yal'd tried it, pleas tell me what you know, tanks alot

he means PS2 model number #50001.

if you get a newer model with a "+" symbol on the front of the box (i believe those include the 50001 model), it will have better compatibility with burned DVDs than older models. but yes, you will still need a mod chip or boot disc, in any case.

the store say it can play all dvdr media but i not sure if it can play dvdr games

the reason the store mentions dvdr media is because sony's lasers in the older models were not designed for use with burned discs. with a modded 50001 you shouldn't have to worry too much about disc compatibility with dvdr games.
