The US company, Nyko Technologies, has come up with a gamepad for the Playstation 2 and Xbox which stops a player getting sweaty hands when playing an intensive game.
The AirFlo gamepads have a built in cooling system. A wireless version of the gamepad is due on the market for the Playstation 2. The company has also developed an airconditioned mouse for pc gamers.
"Cool air blowing on your hands as you play helps you stay focused on the game and not get uncomfortable with a clammy controller," said Susan Corben, Nyko's Director of Marketing.
