When i start the HL.exeblack comes up and gorden pops up and then black comes again and i return to my desktop what happened

K when i start the game, The first screen pop-up, then it leaves and retuen to the desktop

I see...The game starts then It crashes to the desktop. That could be any number of problems. Reinstall it is all I can say. Should fix the problem ;)
