Who Is The Most Friendly Mod ?

Maybe this was done before but I would like to ask this question (again?) to learn more about your favorite mod.

Maybe we'll make the winner the "Mod of the year 2004" ;)

Replies are not allowed cause I don't want this turning into a flame war.

Edit: I know it's unfair cause you only have one option and maybe more than one fav. mod but that's how life is.

Remember that you cannot vote for 2 presidents and you'll get my idea. I'll explain the reason for this poll once there are more votes :P

edit: Busyman - just because a mod isn&#39;t very visible, it doesn&#39;t mean they&#39;re not working. There are mods who barely post but who still do a lot of work - the same goes for the admins too.

Every mod / admin uses different ways to handle situations and the result is a working community.

I am glad to see that there are no mods with zero votes after 48 hours. This shows me (and hopefully all other members) that we have a great team &#33;

The point is also well made that some mods are more active than others, indeed active in different places.

It is unsurprising that the mods seen most often in the lounge are likely to get voted for, when the poll is based there.

I have said this often, good moderation is one of the reasons for this being such a top board, the best in my opinion. It has always been so, long may it continue.

It is unfortunate that some people seem to enjoy baiting mods, as a form of sport.

Now where did I leave that steak sandwich, Lamsey have you seen it at all.

Good point in bringing out the team work in all of this. We sure are thankful to each one of them as we are to others. Just keep up the good work&#33; (and dont ban the binary-its our mother tongue for God&#39;s sake)

I have had to report one post that was so offensive as to go way beyond the pale.

The fact that it was encoded was if anything worse.

Why should the mods have to decode posts in order to check them, I think not.

People using language that others find difficult to understand is appaling behaviour. I have no truck with it.

I understand, it gets really harder for the mods to see whats going on. But once in a while it should be ok. If excessive flaming goes on any member can report (like you did and I support that) and the mod can take it from there on. Although, it will be just some more work.
But why is it that I see more and more things are being banned on this forum? Anything in excess is never good but banning means not using it at all.

Anyhow, its not something I really care. It was more of a joke when i said it. :D
