I'm entering in the Video source and audio source but when ever it finishes no sound, is the a better app out there or am I doing something wrong

also Im keep on getting errors like ''***********/Movies/Bruce Almighty.avi cannot open, or unsupported :o

then maybe you have to use for example "virtual dub" to change audio into "pcm" (no compression).

i think that sound in your avi_file is mpeg layer3 encoded. this doesn't work in tmpgenc. so first use virtual dub to decode your sound.

ok just downloaded virtual dub, so how do I covert audio into pcm

ah fuck, done everything and now another error comes up

write error eccured at address 77f8 of module 'Ntdll' with 00000000

probable need to change your vafpi settings
could be a bad copy of tmpgenc try downloading it again http://tmpgenc.net

What r u on about mate.

1 Tmpeg encodes any audio fine.Mp3 ac3 etc....

2 You dont need to encode with a seperate audo stream.

If you have a problem with any of them ,its u not the file or tmpeg

Mate try increasin&#39; that direct show to the top or 2.

The write error could be caused by a bad frame in the movie. Cut that out with a program like divfix or movie fixer and try it agin.

That&#39;s nothing to do with lack of sound though, the two problems are seperate issues. Extracting the sound to a .wav first is good advice.
