you have to create a partition or format it. Use Partition magic and it'll show up, at the moment its in RAW format rather than NTFS or FAT32

You have two harddrives? Set jumpers right?

if she's got windows xp:
right click my computer, go to manage, then click disk management and you will see the drive listed here, now you can create a partion on it and then format it with either fat32 or ntfs.

if shes got windows 98\me\2000:
download partition magic and partition it, then format it with fat32.
