I have come to realise that I am the only person I know that uses an electric blanket during the cold harsh winter nights. For me it is a vital piece of survival equipment and I cant understand how anyone can survive the winter hibernation without one.

I'd like to know anyone else out there who owns and uses one and if not, what do you do instead.

I know its a pretty lame topic but i'm curious

Ciao for now

So none of you wear thick knee high socks and
a lovely hat with a bobble on it like I do ?
No wonder my wife left me !
I am going to purchase an Electric Blanket today.
Thanks for the idea ;)

I couldn't live without my electric blanket, I normally leave it on number one all night, its sooooo cosy! My teddy bear will freeze its nuts off otherwise :P

Had a gf once who did.
She was laughing so hard, that she couldn't keep it up any longer.
(the reason why would be considered TMI, I think)
Anyway, the wires in those blankets are insulated, so nothing happened.

A down quilt is a lot nicer, and can't possibly malfunction.
