As some of you may know or not I am drinking many cups of coffee in the
last time cause I am learning through nights. The other reason for drinking
this Nescafe Express so much, is it tastes so well and gives me the feeling that I
can better concentrate on issues.

I tried now, to stop drinking, but it is really difficult as it is harder to concentrate
on when working. I tried this Coffee without coffein - it tastes well - now, I was
drinking some glasses again ;) hmm... and in soem ways I get this feeling, but not
so strong.

As I have no experience really how to stop something you are really addictive
too - I never smoked and would never do it, it is awful - I want to know if any of
you already tried to stop drinking coffee or can give me any suggestions.

thanks for any little advice,

david.

Cut it down slowly. Take around 5-6 of it a day then slowly decrease that number. When you are cutting it down substitute with some other drink. Take warm milk if you are substituting warm drinks. In cold drinks just take juice.

But none of this works for me  I am damn addictive to coke. I take around 4 litres of coke everyday. :frusty:

Yeah, oy yes, thanks I will give it a try - I hope that helps - a girlfriend of mine
want to stop smoking after school last year (she smoked in stress situations), but
did not succeed :(

I also tried to drink some Coke as I think there is fewer coffein, but this wasn't so
successful, now I am trying to take it down slowly with some coffee withou coffein.

The other issue was that coffee takes many water out of your body and it can
cause sh*t problems, but I managed this while drinking great amounts of water.

Ok, thank you all, I will try everything except first suggestion as I am generally
a person who wants to enjoy life as far as possible. And although I had some sad thoughts sometimes, I could not do this. One reason is above, the other is my best
girlfriend as she already lost one girlfriend by suicid.

So far, I am going slowly to bed now, nice dreams... sorry, sweet dreams...
