Is There An Alternative To The Windows Installer

where can I download the alternative to installshield or install the thing itself? since mine closes right as soon as it opens

windows installed it can be reinstalled. you can probably find it at microsoft.com

the installshield installer is part of the setup.exe and cannot be replaced with an alternative
