can pop ups that u get from going on web sites ect be blocked, coz the ones that u get just when u r doing nothin, like 50 on your pc in a morning and shit, ive blocked with ashampoo.

so pop ups arnt fuckin irratating :angry:

you should run a adware scanner.... because getting popups when your not surfing is not 'normal'

I use GOOGLE toolbar..

Firebird (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird) is the bane of popups.

And if this is happening while youre idle, get Spybot-S&D.

no not when im not loged on when i leave it downloading over night (idle) :lol:

oh and i use ashampoo to stop them, it the ones u get from surfing i want to stop, like likes to morages or some shit like that :D

if you are running win xp have you disabled the messenger service in services?
if you getting popups on websites best software to use is the mozilla firebird Internet browser

If you want rid of the popups it might just be worth your while moving over to Mozilla FireBird. Its very effective and also a better browser. Switched over myself about a month ago and havent used IE since. Hope this helps
