Just curious since we all have different speed differences(for al sorts of differences). The shortest time it took me 2 d/l a movie was 2 1/2, it was "Can't Hardly Wait"...i consistently got over 100kb/s which was nice. The longest time for me 2 d/l a movie was 2 1/2 weeks! It was "Two can play that game"..i really wanted it..and prayed everyday for it 2 have a speed increase(Its in the verified hashes..if u want it). So what's yours?

3 1/2 hours (LOTR extended), and 3 months (Pink Panther) but the latter record will be broken (3 1/2 months for another one already, if it ever finishes that is).

I just wished people would leave stuff in their shared folder when they discovered that it is rare (at least in their part of the network).

I don't really know how fast it went but with around the 100 kb/s it started and when I woke up the next morning it was finished. The longest one was about a week ( If it goes too slow I quit and start lokking for a faster one)

I can download a full DVD-R in about 8 hours. That may seem like alot, but you have to remember the file is 4.5Gb.  --

Fastest time was for the 75 nimute Sopranos ep which I got on less that 1/2 hour. It was so fast I thought it had to be fake, and it wasn't.

Slowest was the 2 weeks I waited to get Boondock Saints, but it was well worth the wait.

Fastest I ever downloaded was not a movie, but an episode of friends which took less than 10 minutes for 250MB file. The fastest I ever downloaded a movie was about 1 1/2 hours, for the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, around 700MB. Remember that night Jude?

The longest it ever took me to get a movie (well again not a movie but a tv episode) was an episode of CSI, season 2 episode 21 to be exact. It took me three months to get the darn thing, and I was jumping for joy when it finally finished.

What kind of connection do you have? That's 265KB/s! I've had that speed before, but never for an extended period of time and I'm on 3mbit/s dsl.

I took me about an hour to download both parts of the first lord of the rings screener(granted there are lots of sources for this movie since it is older and very popular). They're each 7xx mb. That is far and away the fastest I've had. The were both coming in at over 200 KB/s the entire time. I was very pleased.

I'm a postgrad in University in Ireland - on the university LAN, Have actually gotten 400kb/s - for maybe half an hour at a time - i guess the time difference might influence it too - less people going for the same files maybe.

well i think i get a movie in less then 2 hours but, i saw lately that if i download 2 movies at the same my speed is much slower than i download 1 at a time.

1 movie constantly 130/200
2 movies both 40/50

Fastest was somewhere near 2 or 3 hours. Slowest was Bodyshots, it took me several months to download from a single never online slow user, but I did eventually get it. I currently have 3 or 4 dozen downloads paused becuse they will just not connect, no matter on what node I hop to.

fastest would be around 1.5-2 hours. that doesnt happen very often...

and the slowest... well a few weeks! and i still have a few unfinished downloads that i'm still trying to get after maybe 3-4 months. i am doubting that they'll ever finish. :(

Fastest download for me: Spider-Man, it was a little over 2 hours, using WinMX, 2 days after it was released, not a cam version, great quality screener. I was so shocked that I got it.

The fastest I ever experienced: Practical Magic came in a whopping 37 minutes, and it was over 700mb. I was shocked. I'm also on a University LAN, and we just had a new firewall installed, and ever since I've been having amazingly fast downloads.

The longest I ever waited was about three days, for Ghost World. It was screwed up, too, ugh. :)

That's not possible at 70KB/s - that only ends up being 378,000KB - the two CD version was over 1.3GB...unless it was a cam version.

I think I'm about to take back what I just said - I have had Cruel Intentions coming in at 530 kb/s average for the last 15 minutes. At the moment it's at 630 kb/s. I think I'm going to be miserable at home on a dialup this summer!
