Anime?

Not really into piano/classical music, but Coldplay use a lot of piano in their songs. Check out Amsterdam, The Scientist or Clocks.

Within Temptation - World of Make Believe
Within Temptation - Never-Ending Story
Within Temptation - Restless

I like Jens Johanson, as a Piano / Keyboard player, (plays on Stratovarius atm)
few songs to check:

Johanson - 1997 - Sonic Winter - 04 Enigma Suite
Johanson - 1997 - Sonic Winter - 06 All Opposable Thumbs
and
The Johansson Brothers - 1994 - Johansson Brothers - 03 - Quli (Keyboard, not Piano tho)

Tony MacAlpime - 1987 - Maximum Security - 08 Etude #4 Opus #10 , i think
its Chopin but its cool anyways, he's a Player you need to check out,
I mean, he plays guitar on the album but that piece of Piano is just amazing.

There's lotsa other songs too but i must hurry to work now...

:cool2:

There's nothing wrong with Billy Joel or Elton John I have both of their 3Cd sets.

 OK, then I'll date myself again. YES has some nice piano/keyboard parts, like the song "Awaken" from their Going for the One album (yes, I said 'album' ).

I usually don't listen to plain piano music, but all the Final Fantasy piano music is really good.

Nobuo Uematsu is the artist and he's really good. I'd definatly reccomend him to anyone that wants to listen to some piano music. Some piano music I find really boring, but Uematsu's stuff is great.

You should have an easy time finding it by either searching for Final Fantasy, or Nobuo Uematsu.
