So much for most people. You must already have at least 50 uniques per month... not a problem for someone who is already hosted, but that means that they probably don&#39;t need this hosting.

Actually, that web host is pretty good :)

The only thing that&#39;s stopping me is the file space & bandwidth - I get 250MB and 8GB/month respectively ;)

Some other good ones are web1000 and netfirms. As for paid hosting.. leethosting.com has to be the best. very cheap for unlimited bandwidth and space. plus lots of other goodies

Hmm, leethosting.com looks ok... the bandwidth at least (100 GB for &#036;7)... but just 1 MySQL database ? That sucks :(

Anyway, for the cheapest paid host I&#39;ve seen contact [email protected] or [email protected] on MSN messenger. He&#39;s got a 2-gig plan for &#036;10 and 1 gig for &#036;5... i&#39;ve been hosted there for a month so far, it hasn&#39;t been down yet, no other problems whatsoever. You also get PHP, FP Extensions, Perl, MySQL (more than 1 DB :P), and lots of other stuff, just ask him.

As for free hosting, I think Geocities is the best. At least, there are never any problems with it and if you&#39;re really serious about making a website, there&#39;s hardly anyone too poor to afford some of the &#036;2-&#036;3 hosting plans that are out there... so imho you should get paid hosting.
