View Full Version : How To Make A Shortcut For Dos
Hmmm I'm sick of always opening DOS and finding C:\docs and settings\user
Is there a way to make a shortcut to go directly to c:\folder?
Thanks :)
Nevermind....
"cmd /k cd c:\folder"
Piece of cake B)
How about having "Open Command Prompt Here" on the right click menu when you click any folder. ;)

I don't want to navigate to several different folders. I just wanted to navigate to ONE folder, since currenly I'm doing some work there :)B)

Another way you can do it is if you make a shortcut to cmd.exe and then in the properties, go into the shortcut tab and then under "start in:" just put down the path to the folder and everytime you run the shortcut, it will be in that folder :)
