Avipreview Does Not Work

I am having a problem with aviPreview. Every time I try to watch a movie that is partially downloaded, avipreview starts to work then when all the frames have been processed it starts, but stops a few seconds later. Once the movie is finally downloaded it freezes in windows media player, and slightly sticks in videolan. I have redownloaded it as well as installed IO player (or whatever is on the avipreview site.) Does this happen to any of you? and How can I fix it?
