I full heartedly agree.

But 7th is being quite stubborn. And I don't see any reason to not let us choose from other skins.

I don't mind the "border" but it's the icons I don't like.

Basically I see the board changing in this way many more times during the year.
If you had a certain desktop screen wouldn't you change it every once in awhile? It does seem that most members want it to either stay the same all the time (the old way) or be able to pick a skin and change it on the fly.

I prefer the latter but in the end 7th will do what 7th wants will do.
