BTW, I'm around a 7.5 on this scale, being that I have built Gentoo but am not using it. :)

went for 8 since i have installed plenty of linux's that you have to compile yourself. i use pico rather than vi though and SCO are definetly evil :devil:

redundant array of indepentant disks - you can set up 2 hard drives to act as one or have on be a mirror image of the other...lots of different options with raid...look for a tutorial

I'm about a 6, but I think that's pretty good since I only really got a computer about.. a eight months ago and started doing anything on it about only three months ago. No training yet. I want to go to school for it someday.

and i was wondering...would it be possible to have more than 2 hard disks in ur comp? more than what ur ide cable can handle?

Chose "6" – I can program in ANSI/VC++ and of course I can name two others: ASM, C ..., Pascal, BASIC etc.
