Ads In Klite 2.6 Rc13 2/6/04

Well, I installed KLite 2.6 RC13 on my two computers. On one I had KLite 2.6 PR1 installed previously. When I uninstalled the version and put the new one on I was fine. On my other computer that had no version installed of KLite at all when I installed 2.6 RC13 I noticed that in the right of the search area there was a webpage with Ads, and a message saying to upgrade to Kazaa Pro at the top. I'm not sure what this is or how to get rid of it, if anyone had any ideas please write me back. Thanks!

where did you get the upload install from and did you install the adblocker or that comes with it??? i forgot the actuall name, but you have to check it for install during install

Ok I fixed the problem :) when I copied the hosts file that's in windows/system32/drivers/etc to my other computer all the ads went away, I read this from another klite board. But if anyone else has this problem and is reading this that's how you fix.

No, as some of the features of k-lite will not work ;)
