i found this (http://www.hsn.com/cnt/prod/default.aspx?webp_id=1357369&web_id=1357369&sz=0&sf=ec&dept=ec0027&cat=ec0037&subcat=&gs=&attr=&prev=hp!sf!dept!cat) monitor and when i look at the viewing angles, its 65 horizontal and 45 vertical and i was wondering what that means?

btw, do u think that is a ok monitor? i love the fact it has a built in tv tuner

its the angle that you can view the monitor at. when you go past the 65 degrees horizontal or 45 vertical you wont be able to see whats on teh screen...it will go negative colors and then just really dark...but as long as you are sitting in front of teh monitor you wont have any problems.

yeah bad as a tv, great for a moniter assuming you just look staright ahead... badsivcly at a certian angle glare makes what on the screen invisible... the same thign that happens with labtoips...

but what exactly does 45 and 65 degrees mean....i mean, i nkow what it means, but like from where are the measurement taken from? the center of the screen?

i think from dead centre, you can look at it from 45d and it should stil be visible, but i woul;dnt worry about it much, as when ur using it u will be right in front of it?

also, i dont mean to shout, its just annoying the ammont of people who call them labtops.
