Chat Link - Http 404 Not Found

This is reguarding the Chat link up in the top, next to IRC, I clicked the Chat (http://www.p2pchat.net/chat/klchat.php) link and came up with that HTTP Error, just wanted to point that out.

I believe it could be on the p2pchat.net side actually, so give it a little time.

If you want to get on, the go to mirc.co.uk and download it, then click the IRC link at the top of the page.

The links on the top of the board should be called "Java Based Chat" or "Java Chat" and "IRC Chat".
:D That way it wouldn't be so confusing to noobs. :D

Totally off topic fiacco62 I also received error when trying chat link but I have mirc installed and it works great suggest it is the better route to go. A little more work but that is what posts and learnning are all about. :) :)

hi guys,

i have MIRC installed and the old IRC host forum worked OK, but when i try to go to this one it doesn&#39;t seem to work

I click the IRC link above, and mIRC loads. Loads into P2P chat, and gives me the message of the day

After that, I "set mode to +ix"

now, when i do anything, i just get the message "You&#39;re not on a channel", which is annoying. Even get this if i type "/join #klchat" like i used to...

am i doing stg stupid??? :huh:

I get the same error vivitron 15 funny though I tried the chat link ,worked for me a few days ago when I thought I would give it a try...

The CHAT and the (IRC) links are different.
The CHAT link is the online java based version of KLChat. It&#39;s currently down.
The (IRC) link is the one that connects to the KLChat channel through an IRC client. You must have an IRC client installed for this link to work properly.

yeah, i got mIRC, but it doesn&#39;t work. it gives me all the way to MOTD, but then nothing.

i used to be able to connect through quakenet, but cant this one

Or click on the channels button, type #klchat and click &#39;Join&#39;.

That should do it.

Thanks Datamore, Vivitron 15 maybe if you uninstalled mirc and reinstalled it might work i,m a mirc newbie so just a thought. I&#39;m sure others can help more than me :unsure: :unsure:

/clear to clear the text
/whois aNiZeGuy to find out more about the user

if ur new to irc well theres lots of command it depneds what servers u r on..

but....
/clear did in fact clear the screen.....

arghhh. may take ur advice accat, the old, well it&#39;s knackered, reinstall all that ive come to "love" in XP....yay&#33;
