Hi All,

I thought it was about time we had some enjoyment on this forum, and what better way to do this than by solving puzzles together.

I will pose a question, riddle or puzzle and will reveal the answer until it has either been guessed correctly or everyone agrees to pass. I will then post another.

I will start this thread and keep scores of those with correct answers. If this thread becomes popular, I will set a realistic target to be met and the person who achieves that target thus becomes the winner. If it does indeed become popular, I will try and make sure the winner gets a prize of some sort.

As always, there will be a couple of rules... If anyone flames or attempts to flame another user, I will order the whole thread closed and banished forever. Also, I request that nobody posts any pictures in here whatsoever. A few of my puzzles contain images and would like these to be the only images on here. If posting answers, please quote the questions only. We don't want pages of useless info ;)

You will get my utmost respect by just sticking to these simple rules.

I wish everyone the very best of luck... now on to Question 1

As my British geography now leaves something to be desired, and as Thames isn't there, I'm leaving that one.

First is black. Second is Victoria. Third is mother.

Edit: Well, I was never very good at wordsearches anyway. ;)

VIII isn't from a film...originally anyway. It's Henry V by Shakespeare.

More recently, it's been in Renassiance Man, among others. :P
