Hello,

I just downloaded Simpsons Hit and Run from IRC. It was .tar file and i unzipped it and i got three folders. CD1, CD2, CD3. Within these folders are a whole bunch of files. In the first cd the files are like this: flt-har1.001, flt-har1.002, flt-har1.003 and so on. There is also a .sfv file. What do i do with these files??? Thanks

open flt-har1.001 in the CD1 folder and extract everything in flt-har1.001 you can do dat by highlighting everyhing in flt-har1.001 and right click on it and click Extract to Specific Folder then inside of dat new folder u should have a .BIN and a .CUE.u can open the .bin and .cue wit CDmage

and repeat the same process wit CD2 and CD3 ;)

192 MB RAM
100% DirectX  8.1 or higher compatible sound card and drivers
4X Speed CD-ROM drive
100% Microsoft -compatible mouse and keyboard

2. Recommended System Requirements

The recommended specification is exactly the same as the minimum specification with the following changes:
100% DirectX a compliant 3D video card with 64 MB VRAM
Pentium  III 1 GHz processor or equivalent
256 MB RAM
100% Windows  98/ME/2000/XP-compatible 6 button, dual stick analog gamepad

4. Troubleshooting

1.  If your game does not start, your video card may not be supported. Please check your video card against the list of supported video cards.

The Simpsons Hit & Runä has been tested on most, but not all of the major video cards incorporating the following chipsets:
ATI® Radeon
ATI® Radeon 7200
ATI® Radeon 8500
ATI® Radeon 9000
ATI® Radeon 9700
NVidia™ GeForce 2 GTS
NVidia™ GeForce 3/Ti series
NVidia™ GeForce 4 MX
NVidia™ GeForce 4 series

The following graphics card chipsets are not supported by The Simpsons Hit & Run, or exhibit known problems:
SiS730
SiS650
SiS315
Intel Extreme Graphics 845/865
ATI Radeon 7500 - exhibits severe rendering artifacts with drivers dated prior to April, 2003
ATI Radeon 8500 - exhibits minor rendering artifacts with drivers dated prior to April, 2003
Matrox Parhelia - exhibits rendering artifacts on shadows with drivers that are not up-to-date
ATI Radeon & All-In-Wonder 9000 & 9200 - exhibits minor rendering artifacts

You may also experience difficulties if your graphics chipset is integrated on the motherboard.

Alternatively, if you are hearing static under Windows XP and have a SoundBlaster Live! Value 1024 Digital sound card, the problem is most likely related to your sound card's driver.  Update your sound card Driver and try again.

That's from the readme just because its 1 year old doesn't mean anything please check your spec's.
