Skate Vid Dvd Ripping

I can't figure it out. When ever i rip a skate video they come out funny. They have some lines by the board. This happens when i use it with FairUse. When i do it with nero it only rips a little of it. Does anyne know why skate videos do that? Or better ripping software for this?
